Micromax Canvas Blaze HD now available |
The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that clocks at 1.2GHz, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which is bitterly disappointing considering that now we have Android 4.4 KitKat available. Micromax has continued with launch of Jelly Bean-running phones, even though there have been reports about KitKat updates for its phones.
The Blaze HD EG116 gets an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone gets 4GB onboard storage and up to 32GB expandable memory via microSD card slot. The smartphone supports dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) just like its predecessor the Canvas Blaze. The Blaze HD is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery. The company had teamed up with MTS to launch the Canvas Blaze by offering free data for 6 months. However, Miromax hasn’t announced any introductory offer yet.
