Hello friends In this article I'm going to show you how you can post your Blogs directly using Microsoft Word. You don't need any software this is one of the best and most simple way to Post Blogs.

Some of my friends use "Windows Live Write" or "BlogJet3" for posting articles but some of functions are not available in it.
Actually, Microsoft Word has been able to Publish content to Blogs Platforms since 2007. The feature is still available and matured to a point where it gives Windows Live Writer a run for its money. But only some of Bloggers would be knowing this.

  2. As everyone is aware of MS word so you have much more Keyboard shortcuts, that means Word generally gets the job done quicker.
  3. You can work on the blog post while offline in Word.
  4. You can add pictures, charts, Screenshots (in word 2013), different Word Arts.
  5. There are many Symbols available in Word.
  6. You can check your Grammer and spelling very easily.
  7. Creating Tables, Using Word Art all this are really unique advantages of Word.

How to Set Up and Create Blog in Microsoft Office 2013


 

When you launch Word, you will see many templates, somewhere after two or three templates you will see Blog Post template. This is the template that is going to allow us to post the content we create to our Blog. So go ahead and click on it.

The first time when you use the template, you are going to need to set up a blog account so that word knows where and how to post your content. This is very important because different blogs platforms require the information to formatted differently.

Word supports number of platforms out of the box. Tips&101Tricks is run on Blogger, So we will choose that, but feel free to pick the platform that your blogs is running on, and then click next.

You will most likely have to enter some kind of URL so that Word Knows where to post your content, but if you want it to remember our username and password you can opt to check the "Remember me" checkbox.

After filing all the boxes, click on Ok. Now You can simply write a blog post using all the familiar editing options you are used to in Microsoft Word.

As we initially publish everything as a draft so that it can be easily edited and proof read. To send the current post to draft to click on the publish drop down button and select Publish as a draft. Alternatively you can publish if you want the post to go live immediately.

You can then log into the admin section of your blog and see the post waiting for you!!!

The editing works tremendously well, inserting HTML tags wherever you used the familiar word formatting options.
